Barbara Brannon, PhD earned graduate degrees in American literature and book history from the University of South Carolina and the BA in art and English from Georgia College. A veteran book editor, designer, and publisher, she served as the first full-time director and instructor of the groundbreaking Publishing Laboratory at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and now heads up a nonprofit in Texas.
